Will God Relent?

I think we all should know the answer to the title of this blog. The truth is that God will NEVER stop until He has all of you! He did NOT send His one and only Son to come to this world, leave everything He had ever known for 33 years, be betrayed by His own people, and be beaten to the point of almost unreconizable to only have a part of who we are.

I have been involved in a process for the last 4 months of following the will of God with all I am. I would be lying to you if I told you it was easy, or if there were things I wished I had done differently. I have doubted, not believed, and even gotten frustrated with God but everytime I "slap Him in the face" He simply turns around, wraps me in His arms and tells me He loves me. I long for that! We should all long for that! In my opinion, it should be in our everyday desires to hear Him say "This is My Son or Daughter, with whom I am well pleased." My question to you all is do you? Do you desire to hear the voice of the Father say this one is mine?

My first day at Gulfway Church was yesterday and I was in the middle of working on some tasks for the day when I got a phone call saying 2 of the youth students had been involved in a bad car accident. They were trying to pass someone on a two lane road in the middle of a storm and hydroplaned, hit a colvert, and rolled their Lexus 4 times! The only injuries suffered is a small fracture in one of the boy's back, a busted lip, and a cut in the head. I heard one of the guys from a ministry called "Frontline" say "normal people don't walk away from this, God has a calling on your life and I want to help you find it." The boy sort of shrugged it off, but this guy wouldn't relent! He desired so badly to have an impact in this young man's life that he made such a bold statement as he did.

I believe God works the same way, He desires to have all of you He even wrote 66 books for you! So whether your preparing to go to work, preach the biggest sermon the world has ever heard, or working the practical side of ministry, do it in a sense that God is glorified in all that you do. Never back down, never loose faith, and never give up (relent) because God will not on you~!
